Answer to edition 403
Last week’s distorted image is usually taken from a different viewpoint that shows much more of the city to be identified. Indeed the ruins on the hill are rare seen from the more pastoral side. If you visit the city and climb up to the ruins on top of the hill you will soon discover that the path leads up through the trees you see in the distorted image. Many of my readers recognised the ruins as the Acropolis which is the iconic view of the Greek city, Athens.
This week's winners
Steve (@Congratulations to Beverley (@bevsackville), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Steve (@doughtagnan), Günther and Ursula (@myVideoMedia) and Atul (@pixodentist) who all identified the city from Where in the World (402) as Athens.
This week's "Where in the World..."
This week’s distorted image features another city skyline dominated by an iconic building which when identified will help you identify the city in which it stands. Good luck.
