Where in the World and International Dark Sky Week
Usually the featured images at the top of each “Where in the World…” is unrelated to the city to be identified. Occasionally I will post a photograph at the head of the post relevant to some relevant aspect of travel. Today, Wednesday, April 22, 2020 is World Earth Day and is right in the middle of International Dark Sky Week. As such I decided to post the image above. I hope you like it.
Answer to edition 397
This week’s “Where in the World…” proved a little challenging as there are so many Buddhist temples. Answers were varied across both Thailand and Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). However the temple is in Bangkok.
This week's winners
Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) who was the only reader to correctly identify the city in Where in the World (397) as Bangkok.
This week's distorted image
Hopefully this week’s “Where in the World…” distorted image will prove less challenging. It features a city skyline with several identifiable buildings/structures. Good luck.
