Where in the World (394)

Answer to edition 393

I do hope that everyone is keeping healthy during the current coronavirus covid-19 crisis. As usual, here is the latest distorted city to be identified. I will be posting have posted a set of more distorted images in a post in a few days time to pass the time while we are all in isolation because of the virus. Click here.

Last week’s distorted image showed only half a city; the other half was buried under a layer of clouds. Apparently this is a regular phenomena in this particular city. I myself have flown into this city and seen it just like this. The architecture and some recognisable buildings were the clues to its identity. The city is Dubai.

This week's winners

This week there are a few more readers who identified the city correctly. Congratulations to Günther and Ursula (@myVideoMedia), Tim (@timofnewbury), Beverley (@BevSackville) and Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) who all identified the city as Dubai.

This week's distorted image

This week the distorted image concentrates on a building. However there is enough of the skyline of the city to help in discovering its identity. Good luck.
