Where in the World (383)

Answer to Where in the World (382)

The tall black building and the much smaller church or cathedral are the best clues to the identity of the city. I mentioned last week that there are three cities which come to mind for New Year. Edinburgh and Sydney are two. The third is known for its New Years Eve concerts and balls. By coincidence it is in the same country as last week’s city, Innsbruck. It is of course Vienna.

This week's distorted image

The distorted image this week is of a city that once was. Hidden in the cloud it is nonetheless fairly recognisable from its surroundings as well as its structures.
