Where in the World (369)

The flag flying from the top of the tower indicates that the country is Turkey. That narrows the location down considerably. In the distance is a second tower that is very much part of the skyline of the city to be identified. A little research (if needed) reveals that the two towers are the Galata Tower (background) and the Maiden’s Tower or Leander’s Tower (foreground). Both towers are found in the city of Istanbul

Congratulations this week to David S (via form), Günter & Ursula (@myVideoMedia), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), and Atul (@pixodentist) who all identified the city as Istanbul.

This week’s distorted image features a well known site that, depending on your viewpoint, is part of the city skyline. This view appears so many times in views of the city that it should be less challenging than recent weeks. Good Luck
