Where in the World (362)

Identifying the monument was the key to identifying the city from last week’s image. Several possibilities were suggested, however, it is the Millennium Monument. As its style suggests it is not celebrating the most recent millennium but rather one a little over one hundred years previously. The monument was commissioned to mark a 1000 years of the Magyar peoples in what is present day Hungary. The monument is found in their capital, Budapest.

Congratulations to Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Dave (@travelling_dave) and Tim (@timofnewbury) who identified the city as Budapest.

This week is a skyline image. The dominant building is key to identifying the city; so identify that and you should be able to identify the city.
