Where in the World (342)

The Great Western Railway sign many readers noticed was a clue to the country where the city is located – the United Kingdom. However, it did mislead some into identifying the city as Bristol. Unless you are interested in railway history it would not help to identify the city. The creatures on top of two of the tall structures, however, are a much better clue to the city’s identity. They are the Liver Birds which, of course, identifies the city as Liverpool.

Liverpool

Congratulations this week to Todd (@toddunctious), Jon (@SparksJon), Atul (@pixodentist), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Beverley (@BevSackville) who all identified the city correctly as Liverpool.

This week features yet another skyline seen from across a river. There are many iconic buildings featured which should make it fairly straightforward to identify the city.
