Where in the World (339)

The odd-shaped skyscraper is very distinctive but few people recognised it. It’s hardly surprising we hear little about it. We tend to hear more about the country of which it is the capital especially in relation to Ghengis Khan. The country is Mongolia and the city is its capital Ulaanbaatar.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Congratulations to Jackie (@jackiesjourneys) and Atul (@pixodentist) who were the only ones to identify the city correctly.

This week the city to identify is a lot less challenging. It features a building, the type of which should be easy enough to identify. A little research should then help you identify the city.

As usual, you can leave your answers in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW339. If you are on Twitter then you can Direct Message me with the answer which will be hidden from other readers. Alternatively, email me with the answer here.

Please use the hashtag #WITW339. It makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; your answer is less likely to be overlooked.
