Where in the World (301)

There were a number of clues to the identity of the city in Where in the World (300). The predominant and iconic building of three towers connected at the top was one clue. Another clue, less obvious, was the lotus flower structure. A further clue was the building resembling an armadillo. Any one of the three would have identified the city but most people seemed to recognise the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and identified the city correctly as Singapore.

Singapore

Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Atul (@pixodentist), Davide (@travelling_dave), Todd (@toddunctious), Jenny (@crazy_cremello), Simon (@similtiades), Scarlett (@scarlettferro), Nick (@nick_wilkins1), Anita (@Ani_Rav) and Lewis (@mckenny6) who all identified the city as Singapore.

The first name drawn at random from all those who correctly identified the city is Jackie (@JackiesJourneys). Congratulations, a £15 Amazon voucher will be on its way to you. I will be in touch for a postal address.

The distorted photograph this week is of a view that is often featured in guidebooks and postcards of this city. There is no prize this week; just kudos if you get it right.
