For those expecting to see a fresh “Where in the World…” distorted city on Wednesday night I must apologise. I was struck down by a particularly nasty strain of flu (despite having had my flu jab). After several weeks of pre-scheduling these posts this one was not. However the tweets relating to it were. Anyway I am now on the mend and catching up on my posting.
The answer to this week I’ll be posting at 10:00pm on Saturday a week from now to give you a fair chance of identifying the city. Where in the World (282) will be published on Wednesday as usual.
Recognising the building did not prove all that easy with several suggestions being put forward. However it is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II which is probably the second most visited site in the city of Milan after the Duomo or cathedral.
The distorted view this week is a very distinctive building in a city not often visited by mainstream tourist traffic. This one is likely be quite a challenge but a little research into railway stations will help.
