Where in the world (271)

Judging by the comments that accompanied the answers this week the distorted city was easy to identify. The gondolas moored by the posts really did give the game away that the city was Venice.

Venice

Congratulations to Atul (@pixodentist), Davide, (@travelling_dave) Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), someone at Cross Country Tours (@NileMajesty), Beverley (@bevsackville) and Madhu (@TheUrgeToWander).

This week’s distorted photograph is a city skyline that is not as obvious as the gondolas of Venice. Also it is a less visited city than last week’s so may be slightly more challenging. The prominent building is the best clue to identifying the city.

As usual, you can leave your answers in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW271. If you are on Twitter then you can Direct Message me with the answer which will be hidden from the Twittersphere.
