Where in the World (266)

It was not an easy one this week. The writing above the lights would indicate the city was in China. Indeed, the answers received were all Chinese cities. Shanghai seemed to be favourite but was incorrect. The city was Guangzhou in China although some may remember it as Canton.

Only one person identified the city correctly as Guangzhou. Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) for identifying what was a difficult city to identify.

This week the distorted photograph is a much more recognisable skyline with several iconic buildings to help identify the city. It has appeared before in “Where in the World…” from a similar viewpoint. This one should be a lot less challenging.

As usual, you can leave your answers in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW266. If you are on Twitter then you can Direct Message me with the answer which will be hidden from the Twittersphere. Alternatively, email me with the answer using the contact page – see tab on the menu bar above.

Please use the hashtag #WITW266. It makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; your answer is less likely to be overlooked.
