Where in the World (244)

Vancouver, Gibraltar and Cape Town were all suggested as candidates for last week’s distorted city. All have distinctive rocks or mountains overlooking them but are not the identity of the city featured. The mountain is an iconic symbol of the city as much as the Eiffel Tower is to Paris or the Little Mermaid to Copenhagen. The mountain is Sugarloaf and is the lump of rock dominating the skyline of Rio de Janeiro.

Congratulations to this week’s winners who are Davide (@travelling_dave), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Tim (@timofnewbury).

As promised the winners for the previous two weeks are as follows:

Where in the World (242) Davide (@travelling_dave), Atul (@pixodentist), Simon (@similtiades), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Tim (@timofnewbury);

Where in the World (241) Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Tim (@timofnewbury).

This week is an unusual view of an iconic building more often seen from a different viewpoint in the city to be identified.
