Where in the World (232)
Last week’s distorted photograph was a little less challenging than the week before. The terra cotta tiled roofs of the buildings places it somewhere around the European side of the Mediterranean which narrows down the possibilities somewhat. The city is a fortified coastal city on the Adriatic popular with holiday makers and cruise passengers. The city is Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Congratulations to Nastja (@nastja_skopac), Chris (@Chr1sHall), Zorica (@Zorica_Ali), Atul (@pixodentist), Davide (@travelling_dave), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Tim (@timofnewbury) who all identified the city as Dubrovnik.
It is relatively easy to identify the part of the world where this week’s distorted city is. However, unless you have been there it may involve a little research to pinpoint which city it is.
Tuesday evening: This city is proving far more challenging than I thought. There are still no answers, right or wrong, submitted. As always, but rarely required, I provide an extra clue on Tuesday evening if no answers have been submitted.
Extra clue: This city in Thailand is well known for its temples.
