The biggest clue on last week’s distorted photograph was the words “AXA Australia” written on one of the skyscrapers. As there are not that many cities in Australia to choose from it was relatively easy to research and eliminate, Of course if you have been there it is fairly easy to recognise, especially if you visited the Opera House in this city. It is a view of the Circular Quay, complete with the Manly Ferry from the entrance to the Opera House, Sydney.
Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Simon (@similtiades), Dee (@DeeCornes) and Davide (@travelling_dave) who all identified the city as Sydney.
This week the twisted photograph was not taken from an iconic structure but is a photograph of a skyline that readily identifies the city. Just to make it slightly more challenging it has not been taken from the usual viewpoint. Certainly this skyline features in most guidebooks to the city.
