The building in the distance could be in any number of cities, including Las Vegas, where they replicate everything. However, it was the posts and gondolas in the foreground that gave the biggest clue to the identity of the city. Of course it could still have been Las Vegas but no one made that mistake. Most people identified the city correctly as Venice.
Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Davide (@travelling_dave), Atul (@pixodentist), Elyse (@foodieintl), Simon (@similtiades) and Jon Sparks who all correctly identified the city as Venice.
This week’s distorted photograph is a view of an iconic building in the city to be identified. Identify the building and the rest is easy (well, I think it is).

The Anish Kapoor gave it away for me! The city would be Bilbao, Spain. The building is the Guggenheim Museum.
