Where in the World (198)

In the twisted photograph from Where in the World (197) there was a big clue as to the identity of the city. Above the entrance to the dominant building it says Flinders Street Station. If you haven’t a clue where that is a quick search on Google will provide the answer. The colonial style building is the main railway station in Melbourne.

Last week only Tim (@timofnewbury) identified the city as Zaragoza. This week I am still in Sicily so the following list of those who correctly identified the city as Melbourne may be incomplete. The post has had to be pre-scheduled when I have Internet access so these are the names of those with correct answers as of Tuesday afternoon. Congratulations Atul (@pixodentist), Simon (@similtiades), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Davide (@travelling_dave).

After a several weeks of challenging twisted photographs this week the distorted photograph is of a fairly well known city skyline.

As usual you can leave your answers in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW198. If you are on Twitter then you can Direct Message me with the answer and no one will see what you have put. Alternatively email me with the answer using the contact page – see tab on menu bar above.

Please do not forget the hashtag #WITW198 as it makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; you and your answer are more likely to be found. Good luck
