I suspected that the distorted image from Where in the World (175) would present a few challenges and it seems that it did. A number of people thought it might be somewhere in Japan. Others admitted to considering China.
The script on the building confused some people as, apparently, it is not the script commonly used in the city where it is located. The structure is the Gwanghwamun Gate one of the eight gates to the city of Seoul.
Three readers identified the city correctly. Congratulations to Simon (@similtiades), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Atul (@pixodentist).
This week’s twisted photograph features another building. I don’t believe there is any confusing script on the building and there is a huge clue flying over the building. Identify this and you are halfway to identifying the city. Good luck.
