From the difficulties of identifying Segovia to a much more recognisable distorted city view. The flags flying are a big hint that the city is in the United Kingdom. Identifying the building will give you the city as the name of the city is also in the name of the buliding. However it is, and was in centuries past often referred to as “The Tower” and was where enemies, real or imagined, of the state and monarch were incarcerated. It is the Tower of London, which of course gives us the city.
As I am still in Malta this post is pre-scheduled so those who identified London correctly wil be listed next week. However congratulations are due to the two readers who identified the previous week’s city as Segovia. They are Tim (@timofnewbury) and Christopher (@BeardyHowse).
This week the distorted photograph is of a city I am sure many will recognise in its undistorted format; but where is the fun in that? The buildings featured may give a clue to its location but the main feature is the best part to identify as it will be the best way of identifying the city. Good luck
