Not all the distorted cities posted on these quiz pages are from the modern era. Occasionally I throw in one from an ancient civilisation. This was the case last week. In its distorted form the photograph could have been from any of a number of civilisations. However, it was not as hard as I had expected. Most guesses were correct (even if the spellings varied). The prominent structures in the photograph were the identifying clues. They belong in the ancient city of Angkor Wat in Cambodia
Congratulations to Atul (@pixodentist), Tim (@timofnewbury), Davide (@travelling_dave), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Obadiah (@ObadiahPoundage) and Richard (@RField75). Well done.
This week’s twisted photograph is back in the modern era and depicts a building that is both iconic and has a significant history for the city and indeed the country in which it is found.
