Last week’s distorted photograph was of a well known landmark seen, quite literally, in a different light. It is most commonly seen in it’s natural white colour not the blue of the photograph. However the white lends itself to images and coloured lights being projected onto it. The shape should have been easily recognisable as the Opera House in the city to be identified. The city is, of course Sydney.
I wondered as I posted it how many would mistakenly identify the city as Valencia because of the more unusual colour scheme. Valencia, in Spain was the only other answer given; an easy enough mistake.
Congratulations to Atul (@pixodentist), Tim (@timofnewbury) Obadiah (@ObadiahPoundage), Stuart (@Stu700) and someone from Alpha Holiday Lets (@AlphaHolidayLet). My thanks to all the others who took part.
There are no misleading lighting effects in this week’s “Where in the World…” just a popular scene from the city in natural light.
