The city from last week has been featured several times in “Where in the World…” because it has several recognisable, but different cityscapes. The one featured in last week’s twisted photograph however is a fairly recent addition to the more commonly photographed skylines because of the recent construction of the featured tall building. However not everyone recognised the building as the distortion applied has given it curved sides when in actual fact they are straight (I can’t make it too easy). Those not recognising the building were able to identify the bridge and therefore come to the same conclusion as those who identified the building.
The building is The Shard and the bridge Southwark Bridge. Either one identifies the city as London.
Congratulations to Richard (@RField75), Atul (@pixodentist), Tim (@timofnewbury), Davide (@travelling_dave) and Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) who were all able to identify the city as London.
This week’s distorted photograph is another of a building unique to the city in which it stands. Identify the building and you should be able to identify the city; although it might take a little research.
