Where in the World (133)

The distorted photograph from last week definitely showed a walled city as most people recognised. That limited the choice somewhat as there are only a few left in such a state of preservation. Several of the readers of this regular post have been there and one, Davide (@travelling_dave), has blogged about his visit (you can read it here). It is the Croatian city of Dubrovnik.

Congratulations to the four people who correctly identified the city. They are Tim (@timofnewbury), Richard (@RField75), Davide (@travelling_dave) and Jackie (@jackiesjourneys).

This week the city skyline is dominated by one particular structure. I identify that and you go a long way to identifying the city.

As usual you can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW133. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer.

Please do not forget the hashtag #WITW133 as it makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; you and your answer is more likely to be found.

You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Alternatively you can also click the contact tab above and send me an e-mail with the answer. Good luck.
