Last week “Where in the World…” entered the festive spirit by posting the first of several distorted city Christmas Markets. Of those who identified the city correctly several used the prominent church as the clue to identifying the city. The church is St Nicholas’ Church and its distinctive architecture places it in Frankfurt, Germany.
Four people identified the city correctly. Congratulations to Richard (@RField75), Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Davide (@travelling_dave)
This rather foreboding, distorted photograph is of a scene with bright Christmas lights in a park – that’s the colourful bit in the middle. It could be anywhere if it was not for the buildings in the background that are a clue to the city’s identity.
