Several people recognised that the twisted image from last week’s “Where in the World…” was the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Once this was identified it was a simple matter to identify the city as Muscat in Oman where Prince Harry will be visiting in a few days time. A future post on my visit to Muscat will feature the mosque among other places to visit in Muscat.
There were three people who were able to identify Muscat. At least one narrowed the odds by remembering I had recently visited Muscat (see Oman: A tale of two souqs). Congratulations to Tim (@timofnewbury), Atul (@pixodentist) and Jackie (@JackiesJourneys)
This week’s distorted photograph may be a little bit of a challenge. However if you can identify the buildings it will make identifying the city easy.
