Where in the World (81)

The twisted photograph last week posed a few problems as most people did not recognise the city without its instantly recognisable iconic structure. It is visible in the photograph but only in the distance. Tim (@timofnewbury) is very good at recognising the bridges in the distorted pictures and identified the one in last weeks as being the Pont des Arts which crosses the Seine beside the Louvre. The city of course is Paris with the Eiffel Tower visible in the distance.

Prague and Istanbul seemed to be popular but incorrect guesses but congratulations go to Tim (@timofnewbury) and Richard (@RField75) who both correctly identified Paris as the city.

This week’s twisted city is not the classic view of the city but there are several recognisable buildings that should help in the identification process.

Can you identify this week’s city? Any idea “Where in the World…” it is? You can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW81. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer, not forgetting the hashtag #WITW81. You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Alternatively you can also click the contact tab above and send me an e-mail with the answer. Good luck.
