Where in the World (71)

Last week’s twisted city featured a basilica overlooking the city. The basilica is quite distinctive having been built in the neo-Byzantium style. It is the Notre Dame de la Garde which overlooks the city of Marseille in France.

Four people identified the city correctly; at least two of those identified the city by its basilica. Congratulations to Tim (@timofnewbury), Atul (@pixodentist), Josepha (@gardensofchina) and Keertana (@keertana_dl). Thanks also to everyone who took part.

This weeks twisted photograph is once again a city skyline. There are some recognisable features which should help in the identification of the city. Sound easy? I suspect it will be more of a challenge than identifying Marseille.

Can you identify the city in this week’s Where in the World…? You can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW71. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer, not forgetting the hashtag #WITW71. You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). You can also click the contact tab above and send me an e-mail with the answer. Good luck.
