Where in the World (63)

Last week Bergen was recognised by more people than usual. This week the distorted photograph proved a little more challenging but not impossible. The style of the buildings places it somewhere in Central Europe. All the answers, right or wrong, placed the city in roughly the correct part of Europe. Innsbruck was the most common incorrect answer but the city was in fact the Swiss city of Lucerne or Luzern.

There were two people with the correct answer. Both Tim (@timofnewbury) and Atul (@pixodentist) correctly identified the city in the twisted photograph as Lucerne. Congratulations to you both and thank you to everyone who took part.

This week’s picture once again shows the skyline of a city of many iconic structures, some more visible than others. I suspect that this one might be less of a challenge than Lucerne but I could be wrong (it has happened before).

Where in the World 63

Can you identify the city in this week’s Where in the World…? You can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW63. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer, not forgetting the hashtag #WITW63. You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Good luck.
