Last week goes to show just how wrong you can be. I had said that it would present more of a challenge. As it happened this week the number of correct answers equalled the number for any of the “Where in the World…” twisted photos except those where a prize was offered. Nevertheless there were incorrect answers, all of which identified the city as Amsterdam. I can see how the buildings might lead one to think it was Amsterdam but the house above the others near the bottom right corner should have given a clue that there were tree covered hills or mountains behind the scene. Last time I was in Amsterdam it looked pretty flat to me. The city in the distorted photograph is published below in its undistorted format. It is the Norwegian city of Bergen.
Five readers correctly identified the city as Bergen. Tim (@timofnewbury), Jon (@SparksJon), Richard (@RField75), Atul (@pixodentist), and Matt (@mattjones). Congratulations and thank you to everyone who took part
This weeks twisted city is another one I had graded as challenging but I may have to revise that when the answers start to come in.
Can you identify the city in this week’s Where in the World…? You can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW62. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer, not forgetting the hashtag #WITW62. You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Good luck.
