Where in the World (48)

The distorted view last week didn’t have many people scratching their heads. Several submissions even put a name to the building and identified the architect who designed. The architect is Gaudi, he of the unfinished cathedral, and the building is Casa Mila. This identifies the city as Barcelona. Here’s the picture of Casa Mila in its undistorted format.

There were five people who identified the city correctly as Barcelona. Four of them are fairly regular to these “Where in the World…” posts. One is a newcomer. Congratulations to Michael (@localizedmovie), Tim (@timofnewbury), Atul (@pixodentist), John (@SWFrance) and Richard (@RField75). Thank you all for taking part.

This week’s “planet” is posted below. We are back to a cityscape again but this time there is a dominant structure that will help in the identification process.

Can you identify the city? You can leave your answer below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW48. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer, not forgetting the hashtag #WITW48. You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Good luck.
