Where in the World (47)

Last weeks “planet” took some unravelling to identify the city. Although not a city that immediately comes to mind as a tourist destination it does however have a commonly seen skyline. The tallest building is Commerzbank Tower which is the tallest building in Frankfurt-am-Main better known as just plain Frankfurt.

I am reliably informed that the current Frankfurt skyline has an additional tower. This is the EZB Tower and is actually under construction in this photograph. Apologies if this confused anyone.

Where 162

There was only one person who managed to correctly identify the city as Frankfurt. Congratulations to Michael (@localizedmovie) for his correct answer and for identifying many of the buildings of the skyline. Thanks for taking part.

This week’s “planet” is published below. This is an iconic building in this city rather than a city vista. So once again if you can identify the building you should be able to identify the city.

Can you identify the city? You can leave your answer below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW47. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer, not forgetting the hashtag #WITW47. You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Good luck.
