Where in the World (306)

Many cities are graced by what are commonly referred to as Triumphal Arches. Rome, London and of course Paris are ones that immediately come to mind. However, the arch depicted in the distorted image from last week is not quite so well known. A close look at the writing on the arch does reveal the city’s Italian name; it is the Arco Della Pace which is in Milan.

Arco Della Pace, Milan

Congratulations to Atul (@pixodentist), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Davide (@travelling_dave) who all identified the archway as being in Milan.

This week the city to be identified is a little more challenging; even perhaps confusing. It is part way between a skyline and building being a prominent feature of the city. To give you a little help I should point out it is not always green in colour but changes colour and is often purple, blue, yellow or red.

ADDENDUM

As usual on Tuesday evening, if I have received no correct answers, I will publish a small clue. The distorted image depicts a Science Museum/Centre somewhere in Germany. Hope this helps.

As usual, you can leave your answers in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW306. If you are on Twitter then you can Direct Message me with the answer which will be hidden from other readers. Alternatively, email me with the answer here.

Please use the hashtag #WITW306. It makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; your answer is less likely to be overlooked.
