Where in the World (295)
The prominent structure with the cranes is the unfinished Sagrada Família one of the best known of the many buildings in the city to be designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Still unfinished it is planned for completion by 2026 the centenary of Gaudí’s death. The Sagrada Família is found in the Catalan capital of Barcelona.
This week’s “Where in the World…” distorted photograph is another two-tier puzzle. There are two images of the same city. For those who like an extra challenge refrain from scrolling down past the first image. There are no extra prizes for identifying the city from the first picture, just a few kudos points and personal satisfaction. Do let me know when submitting your answer if you managed it without scrolling down.
The first picture is a departure from the usual external shots of iconic buildings or sweeping skylines. It is an interior shot that you will have seen quite often even if you have not visited the city. Remember, only scroll down if you want a second much easier distorted shot to help identify the city.
The second image appears below this advert. Only scroll down if you need an extra clue.
