Identifying the building in last week’s “Where in the World…” was relatively easy. It was, of course, the Taj Mahal. If you didn’t already know, a little research on Google or Wikipedia would soon reveal that the city is Agra.
Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Todd (@toddunctious), and Davide (@travelling_dave) who all identified the city correctly as Agra.
Where in the World (284) featured the Washington Memorial among the cherry blossom of America’s capital, Washington DC. The cherry blossom season is almost here and I have published a post on where to go to see these short-lived, delicate flowers en masse.
In this week’s “Where in the World…” the distorted photograph is a well-known city but not a view that is commonly shown. There are a couple of clues to help you identify the city but there is one that may well turn out to be a red herring.
