In last week’s “Where in the World…” there were two well-known and iconic structures that remain standing millennia after they were first constructed. They are the Triumphal Arch and the Colosseum and both are in the city of Rome.
There is so much to do in Rome that it is good to go armed with a list of the top ten things to do. There are many online but The Culture Trip is a good place to start.
Congratulations to Beverley (@bevsackville), Atul (@pixodentist), Davide (travelling_dave), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) who all identified the city as Rome.
I thought that this week I would go a little festive and include a Christmas Market. This means the city does not look its usual self even before distortion. There is, however, a clue to the identity of the city in the distorted photograph. Good luck and Happy Christmas.
