Last week’s “Where in the World…” proved to be a challenge as it is not an instantly recognisable skyline. Indeed this city has some interesting buildings but not a particularly memorable skyline. The red-roofed building in the photograph is the Cathedral of the Theotokos. You will find this building in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius.
For those who want to read a little more about Vilnius then Sarah Gallo, who writes at The Five Foot Traveler, has written an interesting post. You can discover 10 things to do in Vilnius by clicking on the link.
Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) who is the only one of my readers who was able to identify the city.
This week the distorted photograph is of another skyline. However, it is dominated by one structure rather than a complete vista. Identifying the building will help in identifying the city.
