Where in the World (245)

Despite the fact that over the last few months the distorted city has seen more than its fair share of coverage in news programmes across the globe there were few correct answers submitted. The white building in the twisted photograph is The Capitol. It can be found in the capital of the USA, Washington DC.

The Capitol, Washington DC

Congratulations to this week’s winners, Simon (@similtiades), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Tim (@timofnewbury). All three are regulars to this page but there are others who also “have a go” but do not submit answers. If you got it right then well done and congratulations too.

This week is a photograph, twisted as usual, of another building in a another city. Identify the building and you should be able to identify the city.

You can leave your answers in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW245. If you are on Twitter then you can Direct Message me with the answer which will be hidden from the Twittersphere. Alternatively email me with the answer using the contact page – see tab on menu bar above.

Please use the hashtag #WITW245. It makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; your answer is less likely to be overlooked. Good luck.
