Happy New Year to all my readers and to those who follow the weekly “Where in the World…” quiz.
I will shortly be posting my suggestions for off the beaten track European cities to visit. Another post will give an idea of what’s “coming up…” on this blog. The regular “Where in the World…” twisted photographs will continue each week as they continue to be popular.
During the new year break I was researching photographs of cities, both those well known and those less so, that could be twisted and distorted. I came a across a couple that featured fireworks and thought they would be appropriate for the new year. As New Year’s Day did not fall on a Wednesday this year I decided to post a Where in the World extra… actually two extras.
Neither of the two distorted photographs is going to be easy to identify as the original photographs both feature the fireworks rather than the city. It may well take a little extra research to identify each city so to get you started I can tell you one is in Asia and the other is a European city. I am not however, telling you which is which.
This first distorted photograph is the more challenging of the two. What’s your best guess?
Even though this distorted photograph has a paucity of clues it is, nevertheless, less challenging than the one above.
