Where in the World (221)

Most people identified the prominent building in last week’s twisted photograph as a mosque. That narrowed down the possible cities quite considerably. The size of the mosque in relation to the surroundings would indicate it is probably in an Islamic country thus narrowing the options  further. A little research would reveal it is the Faisal Mosque in the Pakistani capital Islamabad. Its very contemporary design is meant to look like a Bedouin tent.

This week Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Atul (@pixodentist), Jon (@SparksJon) and Davide (@travelling_dave). Congratulations to you all for identifying Islamabad.

This week the photograph of the city is not the most common and iconic view. However, there are clues that will help to identify the city.
