Only two cities appeared in the answers this week and one of them, Istanbul, was wrong. It is easy to see why the Turkish city was mis-identified. However, it is the golden dome that is the biggest clue. Normally it is see in photographs without the archways in front of it or from the hill across the valley. The golden dome is known as the Dome of the Rock and is in Jerusalem.
Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury), Katherine (@KatherineDougl2), Atul (@pixodentist), , Simon (@similtiades) and Davide (@travelling_dave) who all identified the city as Jerusalem. My thanks to all those who took part.
Remember that next week Where in the World (208) will mark four years of the quiz with a twist. Mobile Solar Chargers are providing two prizes for this. The Aqua Trek Waterproof Power Bank which I have tested and reviewed on this site here and a Mobile Solar Charger which I am still testing and will post the review this week.
This week there is a city skyline to identify. It is not an easy skyline to identify but the mountain beyond is possibly the biggest clue. Identify the mountain and you will find it a lot easier to identify the city.
