The canals and the style of houses were clues to the city’s identity even without knowing that the tall building beside the canal is the Montelbaanstoren, and is a well known landmark on the canals of Amsterdam.
Congratulations to Andrew (@SplashDSM), Tim (@timofnewbury), Richard (@RField75), Elle (@l_kondratyuk) and Atul (@pixodentist) who were all able to identify the city. Thank you too to all who took part.
This weeks photograph once again shows an iconic structure that is the identifying mark of the city. The city should be easy to identify if you recognise (or do a little research) the landmark.
