Last week the distorted photograph was fairly easy to identify particularly as one reader pointed out I had recently retweeted a similar photograph of the city on my Twitter stream (@lethers). I did think that the castle on the hill above the city might lead some to think the city was Prague but no one was fooled. The city shown was Mozart’s birthplace and much later the setting for The Sound of Music. It is the Austrian city of Salzburg.
There were four readers who correctly identified the city. Congratulations to Atul (@pixodentist), Tim (@timofnewbury), Liz (@holistic_liz) and Katherine (@KatherineDougl2).
This week the twisted photograph is of a building for which the city to be identified is forever associated with. Once again it is a case of identify the building and you will easily identify the city.
