There were two giveaway clues in last week’s distorted photograph that should have helped identify the city. Firstly the French flag flying from the top of the building gave away in which country the city was likely to be located. Secondly the name of the building was readable in the photograph and even if you didn’t know where the Le Negresco was a little help from Google or Bing would give you the answer.
The photograph was of the luxury Hotel Le Negresco on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
