Where in the World (98)

The tall building in last weeks distorted photograph was very distinctive and a great way to identify the city. It was the first building to breach the half-kilometre mark in height. At 508m it became the tallest building in the world a title previously held by the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. It kept that title from 2004 until the Burg Khalifa in Dubai took the title in 2010. It is known as Taipei 101 which immediately identifies the city as the capital of Taiwan, Taipei.

There were four correct answers. Congratulations to Tim (@timofnewbury), Andrew (@SplashDSM), Atul (@pixodentist) and Richard (@RField75) for identifying the city correctly as Taipei.

This weeks twisted city features a completely different structure but one that identifies the city just as easily as Taipei 101 did. There are other identifying clues for the more observant too.
