Where in the World (87)

This week’s distorted city proved difficult to identify. There were no iconic buildings to help and the skyline keeps changing so it might not be immediately obvious what city it was. However the viewpoint is a favourite with photographers who often include the anchor sculpture in the foreground of their photographs. The city is Shanghai.

There were a number of attempts to identify the city. All of them placed it somewhere in Asia which was the correct part of the world. Asia however covers a large portion of our planet. This week there were no correct answers.

Hopefully this week’s twisted city photograph will be a little easier. The photograph features an iconic building which, if you can identify it, should make it easy to identify in which city it resides.

Can you identify this week’s city? Any idea “Where in the World…” it is? You can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW87.
