Apologies to those who waited in vain for the appearance of this post last night. There were tech issues that prevented the posting of Where in the World (84) at the usual time. However, all is resolved and I hope you enjoy puzzling out the identity of this week’s city.
Last week there was an odd shaped but distinctive building in the foreground of the cityscape that was meant to be a major clue to identifying the city. It seems that in some cases it served to confuse rather than help. Being a rather distinctive shape and then being distorted did nothing to help matters. The building is the London Town Hall, which of course immediately identifies the city.
There were some who opted for Hamburg rather than London; it is an easy mistake to make with this view. Congratulations to Tim (@timofnewbury) and Atul (@pixodentist) again and to Anna (@annareitman) a newcomer to the winners list for correctly identifying the city. My thanks to all who took part, especially all the newcomers who had a go
This week there is another distinctive structure in the twisted photograph that will help in the identification of the city.
